Gains clearance from NCAA Figueroa has received a waiver from the NCAA and is immediately eligible to play for Oregon. Impact Figueroa put up big numbers for St. John's each of the last two seasons, notching 14.5 points, 4.5 boards, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 37 percent from deep last season. He should lay claim to a sizable role right out of the gate, though it wouldn't be surprising if he initially comes off the bench. N'Faly Dante seems the likely candidate to lose some playing due to Figueroa's addition to the rotation.
