Joins the Longhorns Lewis (transfer portal) has committed to joining Texas for the 2026-27 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Lewis joins the Longhorns after playing the previous two seasons at St. Mary's. The 6-foot-3 guard gets a fresh start and will fight for a starting role in the team. He averaged 13.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists on 26.8 minutes across 33 starts in the 2025-26 campaign.

Impact Lewis broke out as a sophomore with St. Mary's, averaging 13.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists while starting all 33 games. Lewis could simply follow his head coach Randy Bennett to Arizona State, but he'll have plenty of other programs interested as well.
