Commits to NYU Savarino committed Monday to Division III New York University, joining the program as a graduate transfer from Duke, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.

Impact A walk-on for Duke, Savarino appeared in 13 games over three seasons with the program while playing under his grandfather, outgoing head coach Mike Krzyzewski. The 6-foot-0 guard averaged 1.1 points over 2.1 minutes per game as a sophomore.
