Keaton Wagler - Another stat-stuffer Wagler finished Wednesday's 89-70 win over Maryland with 13 points (4-12 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and eight assists in 33 minutes.
Impact Wagler's stellar freshman season keep chugging along, as he now leads the Illini in both scoring (15.9 ppg) and assists (4.0 apg) while checking in at second on the team in rebounding (5.2 rpg). He's firmly grabbed the attention of NBA Scouts at this point and will get even more volume allotted to him in the coming weeks while Kylan Boswell is sidelined with a hand fracture.

Jake Davis - Gets nod in Boswell's stead Davis registered 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 89-70 victory over Maryland.
Impact Davis made his first start since November and put forth one of his better scoring efforts, especially taking into account that he was held scoreless in two of his last three games. It appears he'll get the first look at the starting shooting guard spot while Kylan Boswell is sidelined roughly three weeks due to a fractured hand.

Andrej Stojakovic - No injury concern after all Stojakovic recorded 30 points (9-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 89-70 win over Maryland.
Impact Stojakovic was last seen limping off the court just four days earlier, but he appeared to be at 100 percent here, posting a season-high in one of his best outings of the year. His shot volume should see a short-term boost, as point guard Kylan Boswell is set to miss three weeks due to a fractured right hand.

Kylan Boswell - Should return in around three weeks Boswell (hand) is expected to be sidelined between three and four weeks, head coach Brad Underwood told Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.com.
Impact Boswell fractured his hand in practice when he collided with another player, and after undergoing surgery, he'll have his hand pinned and plated. Underwood's timeline suggests the star guard will return around mid-February. Losing Boswell is a huge blow for Illinois, as he's averaging 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while starting in each of his 18 appearances.
