Impact The 6-2 senior seems to have found a home with the Commodores. After starting 34 games with Oklahoma last season and averaging 9.4 points, Miles has scored at least 20 points in five games, including all three wins in the Bahamas. The guard is fifth in the SEC with 4.8 assists and is scoring 18.8 points.

Impact The 6-10 senior center scored 30 points in his last two games in the Bahamas after scoring a combined 40 points in the Commodores' first six games. He hit 3-of-5 3-pointers in those two games as well. Both Devin McGlockton and AK Okereke were in foul trouble against the Gaels, so expanded playing time is not a sure thing for Washington. At least he showed that when he gets an opportunity, he can take advantage.

Tyler Tanner - Scores 16, deals five assists Tanner produced 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Thursday's 89-74 victory over VCU.

Impact Tanner's playing time has been somewhat curtailed by foul trouble and the presence of Frankie Collins on the Commodore bench. He has accrued four fouls in each of the games in Battle 4 Atlantic and scored just 11 points in the win over Western Kentucky on Wednesday. Tanner's play has helped Vanderbilt to its first 7-0 start since 2007-08 when the Commodores won their first 16 games. The team will put the streak on the line on Friday against the winner of the Virginia Tech and St. Mary's.
