15 points in win over WVU Garrett put up 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two steals, one assist, and a block in the win over West Virginia on Tuesday. Impact Garrett is not know for his outside shooting, but he did knock down all three of his attempts in this one. Coach Bill Self is looking for his team to shoot more from behind the arc, so as team's sag off Garrett he may end up hoisting more triples going forward. The senior is averaging 9.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals this season. Those averages are less than what some thought coming into the season, but other players have stepped up offensively for Kansas, which may allow Garrett to show why he won Defensive Player of the Year last season. Kansas will host Texas on Jan. 2 next.
