Quality fill-in option
Brown contributed 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one block over 26 minutes during Saturday's 81-58 victory over TCU.
Impact
Brown has now started six in a row for the Blue Devils while center Patrick Ngongba was sidelined by a foot injury. The senior put up 7.2 points and 7.8 rebounds over that stretch, which may soon be coming to an end given the Ngongba made his return Saturday off the bench. It remains to be seen who gets the call in Duke's TBD Sweet Sixteen matchup, but Brown's run of increased productivity likely stands to level back out.

Steps up big in start vs. UNC
Brown produced 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and five steals across 30 minutes during Saturday's 76-61 win over North Carolina.
Impact
Brown got the start against the Tar Hells with teammate Patrick Ngongba (foot) out, and he stepped up big time. The 6-foot-9 senior's 15 points were a season high, and he tied his campaign-best of five steals. Brown is also slated to start in even more games, as Ngongba is set to be sidelined for the entirety of the ACC Tournament.

Produces in paint over Tigers
Brown posted zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes during Saturday's 67-54 win over Clemson.
Impact
Brown assumed his usual rotating big-man role once again after starting in Duke's last game against Pitt. The 6-foot-9 senior made his mark in the win over the Tigers, though, as he logged six rebounds and a block even without making a basket. Brown should continue to be a relief option with a meaningful role behind starting center Patrick Ngongba moving forward, especially since he's shown an ability to crash the boards when in the game.

Steady role for Duke
Brown registered two points (1-2 FG), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 84-73 win over Louisville.
Impact
Brown has appeared in every game this season as the primary backup to starting center Patrick Ngongba, but with the latter in foul trouble and limited to 10 minutes Tuesday, Brown ended up logging one of his highest minute totals of the season. That allowed him to record his second-highest rebounding total, and the senior has also collected 13 steals over his past five games. He's a valuable real-life component for the Blue Devils, but barring an injury above him on the depth chart, Brown is unlikely to surface on the fantasy radar this season.

Active against Longhorns
Brown (knee) is active for Tuesday's season opener against Texas, according to Duke's official X account.
Impact
Brown will be good to go for the Blue Devils' first game of the year after sitting out of the team's exhibition wave. The senior forward likely won't be a starter against the Longhorns, but he's set to be a meaningful rotator in his 2025-26 debut and the entire campaign. He averaged 2.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals last season.
