Matt Cross - Solid in first start of season Cross chipped in 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes during Friday's 62-55 loss to DePaul.

Impact Cross was unable to repeat the numbers he posted against NC State, when he totaled 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes, but this was another solid showing from the sophomore. He's now scored in double digits in two straight contests for the first time in 2021-22.

Impact Cross had scored 13 points combined over his previous four games before putting up 13 in this one, in what was his third game with 10-plus points on the season. He also logged a season-high seven rebounds in what was one of his best performances of the campaign.
