Impact Thioune had started four consecutive games, serving as the initial replacement for Branden Carlson while he's sidelined due to appendicitis. The Utes went in a different direction Saturday, however, giving Dustin Marhorcic the starting nod. The 6-10 senior has already been seeing more minutes than Thioune, and in this particular effort, Marhoric put up nine points, five rebounds and two assists despite a pretty difficult frontcourt matchup. Don't be surprised if Thioune continues to lose minutes to Marhoric, at least until Carlson returns and both see their minutes decrease.
