Impact Overton came off the bench in the win over Wofford, but made his third start of the season against Houston. The 6-5 junior has scored 13 points in three of his four games. He is hitting 33.3 percent of his 3-pointers and 42.4 percent of his field goals. If Keyshawn Hall (foot) misses any games, the Tigers may need Overton to provide more offense.

Impact Overton will switch over from Texas Tech to Auburn as he approaches his junior season. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds on 22.3 minutes per game across 36 games. He'll have two years of eligibility with the Tigers if he stays until his senior season.

The sophomore guard also matched a season high with 34 minutes of court time while adding six boards, three dimes and a steal in an all-around quality effort for the short-handed Red Raiders. Impact Overton is a 6-foot-5 guard who enrolled at Drake for the team's 2023-24 season. He was an important catalyst in helping Drake repeat as Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champions, an honor that helped the Bulldogs clinch a spot in March Madness. Overton did all that as a freshman as well, meaning he has three seasons of collegiate eligibility to further his credentials, the first with a possible enrollment at another school.
