Returning to Tigers Overton will run it back with Auburn for his senior season, the program announced.

Impact Overton broke out with Auburn in 2025-26. After spending his freshman year at Drake and his sophomore year at Texas Tech, Overton averaged 14.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists with the Tigers, also shooting 41.3 percent from deep across 6.1 attempts per game. This is a huge retention for Auburn, a program with its arrow pointing up after it narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament but won the NIT.
