Impact Boyd had his second double-double of the season and first since the opener. He has scored in double digits in all but one game and is averaging 10.4 points to go along with 7.3 rebounds. The East Tennessee State transfer is converting 31.6 percent of his 3-pointers, which represents a step up from his two years with the Buccaneers.

Impact Boyd and Will Berg are the starting frontcourt for the Shockers and the 6-6 senior has been a consistent presence. He is averaging 9.8 points and 6.7 rebounds, but has not had a double-double since the opener. Boyd has played at least 30 minutes in his last four games and makes for a high-floor player in deeper leagues.

Impact Currently, Boyd is one of E. Tennessee State's lone junior forward but a crucial one at that. He was recently named the SoCon Defensive Player of the Year with under five defensive rebounds, a steal and a block per game. Overall, Boyd's best quality is his rebounding, best indicated by his 7.2 rebounds averaged this season.

Impact Boyd, who was the Southern Conference's DPOY this season, will depart from East Tennessee State in search of more attractive opportunities in the portal. The 6-foot-5 junior averaged 8.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks on 30.5 minutes per game this season.
