Excellent in Big East opener Halaifonua notched 21 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 78-69 victory over Marquette.

Impact Halaifonua put together another productive performance Wednesday as the Hoyas opened up conference play on the road. It marked his second straight game with over 20 points and he's now scored at least 14 points in six of his last seven games. He also tied a season-high with four assists in the win. After a slow start to the season Halaifonua has been very productive across his last seven games, averaging 15.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 blocks in 30.9 minutes per game.

It marked his fourth time with at least 14 points across his last five appearances and he's played at least 30 minutes in each of his last four games. He's established a large role in the Hoyas' rotation and although he isn't dominating, the 7-footer will continue to have a high floor if he continues to see this much playing time.
