Impact Strawther wasn't necessarily a favorite to lock down a starting spot after averaging just 7.5 mpg a season ago, and it's certainly unclear if this will continue into the regular season. Nonetheless, it's noteworthy he was out there first over the likes of five-star freshmen Hunter Sallis and Nolan Hickman. Strawther could fit the Joel Ayayi role if this type of usage continues, but expect him to continue facing stiff competition for minutes on this deep and talented Gonzaga roster.
