Impact Reed came off the bench for the first time this season, and that move paid off for Penn State as he logged his first double-double of the year and got back in double figures scoring-wise for the first time since Dec. 2. As a starter, Reed had been averaging just 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds -- the Nittany Lions may keep him coming off the bench after the near upset of Michigan.

It's hard to discern a lot in the midst of a 41-point loss, but Reed and the Nittany Lions will need to regroup quickly after a rude awakening to Big Ten play.

Impact Reed will join the Nittany Lions after spending the last three seasons with Cincinatti.
