Five boards off the bench Marsh registered six points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 94-81 victory over San Diego.

Impact Marsh has been streaky off the bench for the Trojans; he's scored as many as 17 and as little as zero. His five rebounds against San Diego, however, were a season high, and that kind of work on the glass is something that can earn you more consistent minutes moving forward. The undersized guard will continue to be nightly contributor for USC, but his performances remain hot and cold.

Impact Rothstein noted two players who defensively excelled, Gabe Dynes and Marsh. In particular, the latter showed incredible on-ball defense. It adds to why Rothstein believes USC's projected starting lineup will include Marsh, more likely than before now that Alijah Arenas (knee) has a torn meniscus that may already end his 2025-26 season before it can even begin.

Impact Marsh will join the Trojans following a single season with UNC-Asheville. The 5-foot-10 guard was a star for the Bulldogs this past season, averaging 18.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while receiving first team All-Big South honors and being named Big South Newcomer of the Year. The former Appalachian State transfer will retain two years of eligibility with USC moving forward.
