Gets involved in rout
Young posted 12 points (5-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 108-37 victory over Canisius.
Impact
Young chipped in 12 points, two rebounds and a steal as the Terrapins thoroughly defeated the Golden Griffens on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-2 senior has seen the floor in all five games this season, averaging 3.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals on 14.6 minutes per game. Outside of a matchup against Marquette (where Young saw just four minutes of action), Young's minutes are skewed by lopsided affairs, and he remains a depth option.

Available Sunday
Head coach Penny Hardaway indicated that Young (ankle) will be available for Sunday's matchup against Florida Atlantic, Jason Munz of The Memphis Commercial Appealreports.
Impact
Young will make his return to the floor after missing four of the Tigers' previous five games. The junior guard had seen a definite decrease in usage prior to his absence, scoring just four points in the teams' previous seven games before his injury. Young will hope to work his way back into an expanded role within the Memphis offense down the stretch this season.

Young (ankle) is dressed for pregame warmups ahead of Sunday's matchup against Tulane, Roman Cleary of Bluff City Media reports.
Impact
Young was previously listed as a game-time decision after missing Thursday's game against Temple with an ankle injury, but the junior guard appears to be ready to go ahead of Sunday's game against Tulane. Young has averaged 2.6 points per game in his time on the court for the Tigers this season.

Plays eight minutes
Young (not injury related) played eight minutes during Wednesday's 67-49 victory over Florida.

In portal but with team
Young is in the transfer portal but still with Central Florida for now, according to Jason Beede of 247Sports.com.
Impact
Central Florida's head coach Johnny Dawkins confirmed Young is both in the transfer portal and with the team, an odd set of seemingly contradictory circumstances that could suggest he can still play for the team. UCF and Florida are each other's first-round opponents for the 2023 National Invitation Tournament, and Young's status indicates that there could be a chance he will play that game Wednesday.

DNP with wrist issue
Young did not play in Saturday's 96-52 victory over Tulsa due to a right wrist injury, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Impact
Young was spotted with his wrist in a brace and ended up missing his first game of the season as a result. The injury was likely suffered in Wednesday's victory over Wichita State, when the sophomore guard logged a season-low two minutes, but no word on the exact nature of the issue has been provided by the school. His next chance to take the court will be Thursday at Memphis.
