Staying in NBA Draft Watkins is staying in the 2025 NBA Draft, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Watkins entered the 2025 NBA Draft on April 9 but maintained collegiate eligibility in case his mind changed. It has not altered more than a month later, with the event's withdrawal deadline less than 12 hours away. Watkins' 2024-25 season includes 18.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. For his 32 starts, he also averaged 2.4 assists, 1.7 three-pointers made and 1.2 steals. Watkins' shooting splits include a mixed bag. Despite his 32.1 three-point percentage being relatively low, him shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 74.7 on free throws is acceptable. Though he may not be drafted in June, there is at least a slight chance that an NBA team selects Watkins for its Round 2 pick.
