Erupts for 30 points Wednesday Bishop registered 30 points (9-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 8-9 FT), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 80-67 loss to Saint Louis.

Impact Bishop continues to be a volume guy for the Colonials, having taken at least nine shots in every contest to date, averaging 14.8 attempts per game. He's seen a dip in success rate however, leading to some inconsistencies and is averaging 16.3 ppg nightly as a result, against 19.1 ppg from a year ago. His assist totals have really dipped, 2.0 after 5.1 in 2020-21, zapping a lot of fantasy appeal.

Impact Bishop has seen better shooting days, but considering he's taken 13 or more shots in each game this season, he should continue to be one of the safest volume plays in formats that include the Atlantic Ten conference. He entered the day trailing only Tre Mitchell (20.7 ppg) for the league lead in scoring.

Game off due to curfew Wednesday's game between George Washington and UMass has been called off due to the curfew put in place in Washington D.C., Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports reports.

Impact There's no word yet on when this game will be rescheduled. George Washington is scheduled to play at St. Bonaventure on Saturday next. Bishop is averaging a healthy 19.7 points and 6.1 assists per game this season.

Begins season as starter Bishop is starting Wednesday's season opener against Navy.

Impact Bishop was granted a waiver from the NCAA earlier in November that made him immediately eligible for the 2020-21 season. He'll start in the team's season opener along with Jameer Nelson, while Amir Harris will come off the bench against the Midshipmen. Bishop came solely off the bench for LSU last year, averaging 3.1 points and 0.6 assists over 8.6 minutes per game prior to transferring.

Immediately eligible Bishop has been granted a waiver from the NCAA for immediate eligibility in the 2020-21 season, Jeff Goodman of Watch Stadium reports.

Impact Bishop only appeared in 16 games as a freshman at LSU, so the former four-star recruit determined a change of scenery was necessary. He landed at a destination that lost its main ball handler from a year ago in Armel Potter, but Bishop will still have to contend with program veterans Amir Harris and Jameer Nelson for backcourt minutes. Nelson is probably the favorite for the job, but Bishop should still have a role in 2020-21.
