Good to go Celestine (lower body) will play in Monday's game against Tarleton State, SI.com reports.
Impact Celestine will return from a one-game absence, and after getting through pregame warmups without a hitch, the senior forward has been given the green light. He's averaging 13.3 minutes per game this season.

In uniform, likely GTD Celestine (lower body) is in uniform and participating in warmups, but a decision may not be made on his availability until closer to tipoff, Scott Springer of the Cincinnati Enqui...
Impact Celestine missed Cincinnati's most recent game due to a lower body injury, and while it's encouraging to see him in uniform, the Bearcats could wait and see how his body responds to the pregame activity before making a ruling. In six appearances this season, he's averaging 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds across 13.3 minutes.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
DNP Wednesday Celestine (lower body) was held out of Wednesday's matchup against Eastern Michigan and is considered day-to-day moving forward, per Cincinnati's official team X account.
Impact Celestine was unable to suit up for Wednesday's contest due to a lower body injury, marking his first missed game of the year. The 6-foot-7 forward has averaged three points in 13.3 minutes per game across six contests for the Bearcats this season and will get his next opportunity to return when the team hosts Tarleton State on Monday.
NOVEMBER 27 • ROTOWIRE
Available for exhibition game Celestine (undisclosed) is available for Friday's exhibition game against Arkansas, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Celestine did not play Cincinnati's latest exhibition against Michigan, and the senior's DNP raised concerns about a long-term absence coming his way. Instead, he will have an opportunity to log some in-game action before the 2025-26 Bearcats begin their regular season. With two different Power Conference programs, California and Baylor, Celestine logged at least 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers made in a single season. He is reliable, albeit statistically pedestrian.
OCTOBER 22 • ROTOWIRE
Headed to Cincinnati Celestine will transfer to Cincinnati, per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.
Impact The former California Golden Bear and Baylor Bear will now join the Cincinnati Bearcats. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 7.1 points and 3.5 rebounds last season in Waco. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining.
APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE
Will enter portal again Celestine will enter the NCAA's transfer portal, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

APRIL 2 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Saturday Celestine will enter the starting lineup Saturday against West Virginia, per Foster Nicholas of 247 Sports.

FEBRUARY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Pours in 18 off bench Celestine amassed 18 points (5-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and seven rebounds across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 70-62 win over Kansas State.
Impact Playing in his second game since missing four due to an ankle injury, Celestine played 30 minutes off the bench, draining four from downtown while shooting 62.5-percent from the floor en route to an 18-point performance during Wednesday's win. The senior guard was one of only two Bears to reach double-figures in scoring with the seven boards representing a new season high. Each of Celestine's appearances this season have come in a bench role and he's now topped 10 points in five of 14 games.
JANUARY 23 • ROTOWIRE
Active against TCU Celestine (ankle) was seen warming up and will be active for Sunday's matchup against TCU, per Foster Nicholas of 247Sports.com.
Impact Celestine was previously listed as a game-time decision after missing each of the team's previous four contests with an ankle injury, but it appears the senior forward will be able to make his return. The 6-foot-7 senior has appeared in 12 games for the Bears after transferring in from Cal in the off-season, averaging 7.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in that time.
JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Once again a game-time decision Celestine (ankle) is a game-time decision for Baylor's game Sunday against TCU, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Celestine was a game-time decision before Baylor's game Tuesday at Arizona, so the Rothstein update is not surprising. During the 2024 part of Baylor's 2024-25 season, he averaged 7.9 points and 2.8 rebounds before his foot injury took its toll for several games.
JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out Tuesday Celestine (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against Arizona, the team announced.
Impact Celestine will miss his fourth consecutive game as he continues to tend to an ankle injury. The senior guard will hope to be back in action for Sunday's contest against TCU.
JANUARY 14 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Celestine has missed the last three games with an ankle injury and remains a game-time call for the Bears ahead of Tuesday's showdown with the Wildcats. The 6-foot-7 senior transfer from California has appeared in 12 games this season, averaging 7.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.7 steals on 23 minutes per game.

Leads team with 20 off bench Celestine ended with 20 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, two blocks and one steal over 22 minutes during Sunday's 104-41 win over Tarleton St..
Impact Celestine drained four from downtown on his way to a season-high 20 points to pace the way Sunday for the Bears. He also posted two blocks in what was by far and away the senior wing's best performance since heading to Waco from California during the offseason. While Celestine had only seen fewer minutes in one prior performance this season, the nature of the 63-point blowout allowed him to take on a greater offensive responsibility. Celestine's minutes appear to be secure but with Baylor's talent, opportunities to produce at this level will be few and far between.

Celestine's 3 late free throws lift California past Stanford, 73-71

Jalen Celestine hit 3 of 4 free throws in the final minute to lift California to a 73-71 win over Stanford
JANUARY 27, 2024 • Associated Press
Scores 14 in loss Celestine recorded 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-, 2 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Friday's 100-81 loss to Arizona.
Impact Celestine has delivered 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting over his last two games since entering the starting lineup. He also started California's season opener while Jaylon Tyson was waiting for his transfer waiver to be approved, but he's currently capitalizing on an opportunity to remain in the starting five ahead of Devin Askew. Whether Askew eventually reclaims a starting spot is to be determined, but Celestine hasn't shown enough versatility to generate fantasy appeal yet regardless.
DECEMBER 30, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Added to starting lineup Celestine is part of California's starting lineup Wednesday against UC San Diego.
Impact Celestine will be a surprise replacement in place of Jaylon Tyson. During his lone game started this season, he logged 21 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds. Celestine will look to replicate that opportunity with this rare opportunity Wednesday.
