Impact Coles is coming off the best season of his career, averaging 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists for Grand Canyon in 2024-2025. With presumably one season of eligibility remaining, he'll seek a new home via the portal, where he should have a shot to bounce up to the high-major level.

Impact Coles opened the WAC tournament with performances of 24 and 22 points, but foul trouble limited the 6-8 forward to just 19 minutes here -- his lowest minutes total of the 2025 calendar year. Grand Canyon still found plenty of production without much from its leading scorer, which speaks to the depth of an Antelopes team that will be headed to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season.

Impact Coles has missed the last three games, but will likely play against Houston although not fully cleared. The junior forward averages 11.4 points and 5.4 rebounds so far this year and if able to play will look to support the Horned Frogs against a tough Houston matchup.

Impact According to Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Coles did not play due to a foot injury. In a later post by Johnson, TCU's head coach Jamie Dixon said Coles has been dealing with his foot injury since the team played against Hawaii, which could explain his recent demotion from a starting spot. It seems like Coles' status will be TBD for the Horned Frogs' game Saturday at Kansas.
