Impact
Coach Mick Cronin said earlier in the day there was a chance Jaquez would practice fully Tuesday, and it appears the junior forward was able to do so. May be full-go in practice Tuesday
Coach Mick Cronin said there's a chance that Jaquez (ankle) could be a full go in practice on Tuesday, 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Jaquez missed the team's game over the weekend against Oregon State due to an ankle injury that he had played through in the previous two games. UCLA plays on Thursday against Utah so he should be considered questionable at this point.

Doubtful versus Oregon St
Jaquez (ankle) is not participating in warmups and has been labeled doubtful to play against Oregon St on Saturday, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Jaquez played through the ankle injury in the past two games but is unlikely to take the court Saturday. Peyton Watson is likely to have more opportunities in his absence. If the junior forward does sit this one out, his next chance to play will be Thursday against Utah.

Plays through possible ankle injury
Jaquez registered 14 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 60-52 win over California.
Impact
It was unclear whether or not Jaquez would be suiting up for this contest after an ankle injury limited him to just 15 minutes in the previous game. Jaquez ended up starting in what was just the Bruins' second game since Dec. 11, and he ended up with these second-most pints on the team. Seemingly in the clear, Jaquez has matchups against Oregon and Oregon State on tap for this week.

In starting five
Jaquez will start Saturday's game against Cal.
Impact
Jaquez was limited to 15 minutes Thursday against Long Beach and was considered a game-time decision heading into Saturday's game. While he'll be involved from the start against Cal, it's possible he plays fewer than his season average of 27.4 minutes per game.

Warming up Saturday
Jaquez (ankle) warmed up ahead of Saturday's game against Cal, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Jaquez played Thursday against Long Beach but was limited to 15 minutes, well below his season average of 27.4 per game. He's officially considered a game-time decision Saturday, and while the fact that he's warming up is seemingly a good sign, it's possible his workload will be limited again.

Jaquez will be a game-time call for Saturday's game against Cal due to an ankle injury, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Jaquez's status will be one to monitor considering how big of a contributor the junior is for the Bruins. The junior enters the night averaging 14.1 points, t.1 boards, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting a prolific 39.1 percent from beyond the arc on the season.

Tallies 24 in return
Jaquez amassed 24 points (7-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-12 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Saturday's 67-56 win over Marquette.
Impact
Jaquez was listed as day-to-day going into this contest due to a head injury that limited him to just seven minutes in the starting lineup. Not only did he start Saturday, however, but he put up his best scoring total of the year and third overall 20-point effort. All signs suggest he's in the clear in advance of Wednesday's matchup against Alabama State.

Good to go Saturday
Coach Mick Cronin said that Jaquez (head) is full-go ahead of Saturday's game against Marquette, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Listed as day-to-day
Jaquez (head) is listed as day-to-day according to coach Mick Cronin, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Jaquez exited last week's game against Colorado early with a head injury. He was able to clear concussion protocol and was eligible to re-enter the game, but was held out for precautionary reasons. Barring any setbacks, it seems Jaquez should have a decent chance to play Saturday against Marquette.

Exits game early
Jaquez posted no counting stats across seven minutes during Wednesday's 73-61 victory over Colorado.
Impact
Jaquez only logged seven minutes in the game, as he exited in the first half without scoring after taking a hard fall and was evaluated for a concussion. Head Coach Mick Cronin said that he was cleared by the medical staff to re-enter the game but was held out as a precaution. Consider Jaquez questionable for a matchup with Washington on Sunday, Dec. 5.

Lower volume Saturday
Jaquez ended with 12 points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes during Saturday's 73-51 win over UNLV.
Impact
It was a quiet day for Jaquez, who only attempted seven shots after taking 22 in the previous contest against Gonzaga. While it's hard to tell given he played 31 minutes, Jaquez did have to exit the court briefly after taking a hard, inadvertent elbow from teammate Myles Johnson. Given that Jaquez was able to return to the game, that shouldn't be an issue when the Bruins take on Colorado on Wednesday.
