Strong showing despite inefficiency Brockington posted 12 points (5-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and two steals over 29 minutes in Sunday's 80-72 loss to Purdue.

Impact Brockington shot just 26.3 percent from the floor Sunday, but his high shot volume still allowed him to post a double-digit scoring total in the loss. He came within one rebound of his first double-double of the season, but he got into some foul trouble against the Boilermakers. Over the first eight games of the year, Brockington is averaging 14.8 points and 5.3 rebounds over 29.1 minutes per contest.
