Johnson-Arigu has announced his decision to join the Hawkeyes shortly after leaving Miami following the departure of Jim Larranaga. The 6-foot-7 freshman appeared in eight games during his time with the Hurricanes, averaging one point and 0.8 assists on 5.4 minutes per game. Johnson-Arigu will enroll with the program in the spring semester, but he will be ineligible to suit up with the Hawkeyes until next fall.
