Starting for Proctor Evans (undisclosed) is starting for Tyrese Proctor against Florida State on Saturday, Conor O'Neill of Rivals.com reports.

Impact Evans will get the first start of his career for the injured Proctor (knee). The freshman has played well in his first season in Durham, including great efficiency for a first-year player (47/47/82 shooting splits). Now, he'll get a chance to make an impression in the starting five.

Another productive showing Evans provided 16 points (5-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 97-60 victory over Miami (FL).

Impact Evans has been playing well of late, and even though he continues to play off the bench, his numbers have been impressive. This was his third straight game with 16 or more points, and he's averaging 8.5 points per game while shooting 51.5 percent from deep in eight games since the beginning of February.

Impact Evans doesn't always see the most run for Duke despite entering the program with a five-star rating, but the freshman still finds ways to make his presence known. He's a three-point sharpshooter, knocking down 50 percent of his attempts this season, highlighted by a Dec. 4 upset against Auburn in which he knocked down six treys.
