The freshman has started every game this season and is averaging 15.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 28.8 minutes per game. Bronny James seems to be the primary candidate to take over the starting point guard role during Collier's absence.

Impact It was actually a season-low scoring effort for the freshman point guard, who had put up 18 or more in each of the four games leading up to the team's Rady Children's Invitational opener. It was still more than enough to beat an overmatched Seton Hall team, however, and the Trojans will get a quick turnaround Friday against Oklahoma. In addition to the scoring, Collier has also provided fantasy managers with solid marks in assists (4.0 apg), rebounding (3.4 rpg) and steals (1.6 spg), though the freshman has still had some growing pains. He turned the ball over five times in this contest and is averaging 5.2 giveaways per game on the year -- something he'll surely need to tighten up in advance of conference play.
