Impact Toure continued his solid play for the Cyclones, connecting on 3-of-5 from downtown as he reached double figures in scoring for the fourth-consecutive game. The return of Tamin Lipsey meant that Toure wasn't needed as a ball distributor, dishing out just one assist after having recorded six in each of his past two performances. However, the freshman guard did pull down a season high off the glass while collecting multiple thefts for the fifth time in nine games. Toure is averaging 16.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals across 28.8 minutes over the past four games and will look to continue the momentum on Thursday against Iowa when the Cyclones host their bitter in-state rivals.

For five games this season, his statistical rates include 18.4 points, 5.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 1.6 three-pointers made and 0.5 turnovers with 50.7/33.3/77.8 shooting splits. Lipsey has easily been one of college basketball's best players, so having him available should boost ISU's chances of defeating Purdue.

Impact Batemon had a career night, connecting on 7-of-10 from beyond the arc while tallying a career-best 26 points as the Cyclones stomped Alcorn State. The freshman reserve played 12 more minutes than his previous season high, reaching double figures in scoring for the second time this season with his previous high-water mark being the 11 points he posted back on Nov. 6.
