Last Night in College Basketball: Michigan Responds to 1st L With Impressive Win
Gicarri Harris - Offers little off bench Harris closed Wednesday's 79-72 victory over Iowa with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound and two steals over 19 minutes.
Impact Harris was hardly involved in Purdue's win, putting up just two shots. The sophomore is providing solid minutes off the bench for the Boilermakers this season, but don't expect a big-time outing from him any time soon. He could also stand to improve his efficiency, as he's shooting 37.8 percent from the field.

Daniel Jacobsen - Productive minutes off bench Jacobsen finished Wednesday's 79-72 victory over Iowa with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds and one block over 18 minutes.
Impact Jacobsen is beginning to develop into a reliable big man off the bench for the Boilermakers. This wasn't exactly his coming out party, as he did have 24 points and nine rebounds in a blowout win over Eastern Illinois, but his seven points and nine boards against the Hawkeyes were crucial in the narrow win; these might've been the sophomore center's most impactful minutes yet.

Fletcher Loyer - Offers 11 in win Loyer registered 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 79-72 victory over Iowa.
Impact It was a pretty run of the mill game for Loyer other than his four assists, which was a season-high for the senior shooting guard. After he hit four threes in the win over Penn State, Loyer cooled off a bit, although he's still been extremely consistent for Purdue; his average of 13.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists is almost identical to the numbers he posted last season.

C.J. Cox - Unassertive outing in Purdue win Cox accumulated nine points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound and one assist in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 79-72 victory over Iowa.
Impact Cox is far from the primary scoring option for this Boilermakers squad, but his meager four field goal attempts were even lower than his season average of 6.4 shots per game. Still, the guard was efficient, as he parlayed that into nine points as Purdue cruised to an eighth straight win. Despite the quieter outing, Cox could be picking it up as of late -- he's reached double-digit points in four of his last six games.

Trey Kaufman-Renn - Limited on glass in win Kaufman-Renn chipped in 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 79-72 victory over Iowa.
Impact Kaufman-Renn had a solid game, but he was surprisingly quiet on the glass -- his two rebounds were easily his lowest mark this season, as he hadn't pulled down fewer than six in a game this year. Iowa did well to mitigate the impact of Kaufman-Renn in what wound up being a narrow win for the Boilermakers. The forward has had back-to-back quiet showings after a 14 and 14 effort against Washington on Jan. 7, but he has an excellent chance to bounce back on the road at USC on Saturday.
