Impact Reid was removed from the starting five for the first time this season, and he responded by dropping a season-high 28 points on excellent efficiency. He crashed the glass harder than normal as well with four boards, and this was the bounce-back outing the junior guard desperately needed. It remains to be seen if Reid will return to the starting five after this outburst, or if head coach Chris Collins will keep him on the bench after it worked so well against the Illini.
