Impact For his last season of collegiate eligibility, Mallette will enroll at Alabama, a team that has recent experience taking a non-Power-Five guard and having him acclimate well to the Power Five level. Such was the case with Aaron Estrada, who is out of eligibility soon and can easily be replaced by Mallette. He also fits what Alabama's head coach Nate Oats likes, a reliable scorer with excellent three-point shooting. Each of his three seasons at Pepperdine saw him average at least 10 points and shoot 32 percent from three.
