Impact Bamgboye was spotted back at practice earlier in the week, so there was optimism the forward would manage to return against the Cougars. Instead, he sat out his ninth-straight game as Texas Tech earned a huge win over Houston. His return should be sooner rather than later; his next chance to suit up will come on Jan. 31 at UCF.
