Impact Buchanan grabbed six of his 11 boards on the offensive end en route to compiling his second-consecutive double double during Iowa State's big win to close out the non-conference slate. The 16-point effort marked a season high for the 6-foot-10 junior, who made at least two-thirds of his shot attempts for the seventh-consecutive game. After starting the season with single-digit scoring totals in four of his first five performances, Buchanan has found his footing since, averaging 11.4 points, 7.6 boards, 1.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals across 26.3 minutes over the past eight games.

Impact Jefferson fell just two boards shy of a double double while posting his third game of at least 20 points and five assists. The two-way standout forward also showed his worth on the defensive end by adding a couple steals and blocks to cap off a fantastic non-conference performance as the kingpin for the undefeated Cyclones. Through 13 games, which includes six against power-conference foes, Jefferson averaged 18.1 points while shooting 55.3-percent from the field and 42.4-percent from long range while adding 7.1 boards, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks across 29.7 minutes per contest. He'll look to match or improve upon those numbers as the Big 12 portion of the slate kicks off Friday when the Cyclones play host to West Virginia.
