Impact Beverly made his return to aciton after missing the team's previous game against Charlotte with a concussion. The 6-foot-5 senior had a quiet return, loging just four points and two rebounds on the day while going 2-6 from the field. His next opportunity to get back into the swing of things will come against UTSA on Wednesday.

Impact For the first time in 2023, Beverly was part of Miami's starting lineup. He will finish the 2022-23 regular season having averaged 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds across 30 games. But during tournament action, Nisine Poplar (the player whom Beverly replaced Saturday) is expected to be part of Miami's starting lineup again.

Briefly appears in scrimmage Beverly (back) logged five minutes on the court in Sunday's 89-55 exhibition victory over IUP.

Impact It was reported two weeks ago that Beverly had been missing practice time while tending to his back injury, so it's no surprise to see the very brief run in exhibition play. He only attempted one field goal and did not otherwise record a stat. While it appears Beverly is technically cleared for game action, he's likely off the fantasy radar until he proves healthy enough to handle more run. Currently, the 6-6 guard is a far cry from the 28.7 minutes and 6.7 points that he posted back in the 2020-21 season as a regular starter.

Impact Beverly recorded just 12 and seven minutes in the first two games of the season before sitting out a Nov. 16 contest against Florida Atlantic entirely. While Beverly started 15 of a possible 19 games last season for the Hurricanes, his usage this season currently appears to be relegated to low-leverage situations. In the meantime, Charlie Moore and Isaiah Wong have largely handled backcourt duty, with freshman Bensley Joseph even finding himself in the mix.
