Tigers hold off Hawks with season-opening overtime victory Two Auburn basketball sophomores produced double-doubles as Auburn outscored St. Joe's 96-91 in overtime.
Comes off bench in season opener Zdor posted four points, four rebounds and an assist in 13 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 69-53 win over Grambling.
Impact Zdor averaged 3.9 points, 4.6 boards and 1.1 blocks in 15.0 minutes as a sophomore at Weber State in 2019-20, though he only started seven times. While it's still early in the season, he seems to be primed for a bench role once again unless Grand Canyon suffer from a rash of frontcourt injuries.

Limited impact as starter Frayer notched four points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 69-53 win over Grambling.
Impact Frayer dealt with eligibility issues last season but those issues seem to be over now, as he started the season opener -- though he struggled to make an impact out there. He is likely to remain a starter as long as he remains eligible, though.

Doesn't play in season opener Gordon didn't play in Wednesday's 69-53 loss against Grand Canyon.
Impact Gordon already featured for St. Louis and DePaul before joining Grambling, but he hasn't seen the court since December of 2017 and didn't see action in the Tigers' season opener as well. Up next there's a matchup at Arizona on Friday, and it remains to be seen whether Gordon will see action. After all, his eligibility may be unclear after making his transfer decision in July.
