SI:AM: Arkansas Snaps Losing Streak, But John Calipari Has a Long Road Ahead The Razorbacks beat Georgia in a thriller, but they’re still near the bottom of the SEC standings.

D.J. Wagner - Abysmal shooting night in win Wagner accumulated eight points (3-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 68-65 win over Georgia.
Impact Wagner had a rough day shooting the ball, just like his teammate Johnell Davis, both of whom will be counted on to step up at guard in the absence of Boogie Fland. Wagner averages 10.0 points this season and has shot the ball with decent efficiency from the field (41.3 percent) but his 3-of-14 night was both his most assertive game and least efficient.

Johnell Davis - Struggles in starting lineup Davis ended Wednesday's 68-65 win over Georgia with nine points (3-14 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 36 minutes.
Impact Davis hadn't started a game since Dec. 14, but with Boogie Fland out for the season in a crushing blow for the Razorbacks, Davis will take over at point guard. He was abysmal as a shooter in the win over Georgia, but Arkansas still managed to log its first conference victory of the season. Davis averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists over the 11 games he started earlier in the season.

Adou Thiero - Double-double in Hogs first SEC win Thiero finished Wednesday's 68-65 win over Georgia with 17 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 34 minutes.
Impact Thiero logged his second double-double in three games, and his 17 points were critical in helping Arkansas knock off Georgia for its first conference win under head coach John Calipari. The forward has truly blossomed this season, taking his scoring and efficiency especially to another level.

Somto Cyril - Unassertive approach off bench Cyril contributed five points (5-6 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 18 minutes during Wednesday's 68-65 loss to Arkansas.
Impact Cyril averages 2.6 field goals attempted each game this season across 15.6 minutes. Recently, however, he's been even less assertive, averaging 1.8 field goals attempted per-game over the last eight contests. He's far from a primary scorer for Georgia, but his lack of shooting has prevented him from being all that relevant from a fantasy standpoint.

Dakota Leffew - Limited impact in loss Leffew closed with two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 68-65 loss to Arkansas.
Impact Leffew's two points were his lowest output of the season. He simply couldn't get it going despite playing a solid 22 minutes. As the resident sixth man for the Bulldogs, Leffew has been very solid as a scoring specialist, but nights in which he can't get it going can be very detrimental.

Asa Newell - Great effort before fouling out Newell contributed 18 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds and one steal over 28 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 68-65 loss to Arkansas.
Impact Newell was efficient from the line, did his part on the glass and hit 8-of-9 free throws before he fouled out in the heartbreaking loss to Arkansas. Someone had to hand the Razorbacks their first SEC win, but this one will hurt for Georgia. Still, it was another great showing from the freshman, who's immediately become a staple of the front court in Athens.
