In his three previous games, Thomas had averaged 6.0 points on 6-of-27 (27.3 percent) from the field and 3-of-14 on 3-pointers (21.4 percent). He had his best game from the perimeter and will look to continue to knock down shots in the SEC opener on Saturday as Arkansas hosts Tennessee.

Meleek Thomas - Scoring slowing down Thomas chipped in seven points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 15 minutes during Saturday's 94-85 loss to Houston.

Impact Thomas started the year as the top reserve option for the Razorbacks, averaging 16.9 ppg over his first nine games and reaching double figures in each of those contests. While he had to face a top-10 defense in the country on Saturday, his scoring was still limited, and he now has just 18 combined points on 22.2 percent shooting over his last three games. On top of that, Arkansas has a long break ahead in the schedule, not playing again until Dec. 29 against James Madison, so Thomas is best left outside of fantasy starting lineups in the short-term.

Impact Even the vaunted Cougar defense couldn't stop Acuff. He and Malique Ewin (20 points) combined for more than half of the Razorbacks' points. In his last three games, Acuff has averaged 23.3 points and 8.3 assists. After having their four-game win streak snapped, Arkansas and Acuff will look to start a new streak against James Madison on Dec. 29 before SEC play starts.

He bounced back with a very effective game, albeit in a loss. Trevon Brazile picked up two fouls in the first six minutes, which led to extended playing time for Ewin.

The 6-10 senior is averaging 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds. The Razorbacks take on Houston on Saturday. Per KenPom.com, the Cougars allow an effective field goal percentage of 42.7 percent (eighth best in the nation), so Brazile will need to continue his hot shooting for Arkansas to have a chance to win and improve its record to 3-2 against ranked opponents.

In the Razorbacks' current four-game winning streak, the freshman guard is providing 19.5 points on 49.1 percent from the field, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.0 assists. He has scored in double digits in every game and is hitting 44.3 percent of his 3-pointers. Acuff will need to be at his best against Houston on Saturday. He has struggled from the field against ranked opponents (40.0 percent in four games).
