Impact Anselem was added to the Bulldogs' starting lineup despite averaging only 2.3 points and 3.4 rebounds across their nine games from Dec. 18 to Jan. 21. Fantasy managers should not be surprised if they have him being one of their backups again sooner than later.

Out with illness Anselem is unavailable for Friday's game against Florida A&M due to an apparent illness, Anthony Dasher of Rivals.com reports.
Impact Anselem will be sidelined for at least Friday's game while dealing with an illness. The 6-10 junior started the first three games of the season but has come off the bench since and has not played more than 20 minutes. His absence will affect the Bulldogs' frontcourt depth as he'll look to return Dec. 6 against Georgia Tech.

Impact Anselem started the team's first three games of the season, but he'll shift to the bench with Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe returning from a two-game absence due to an ankle injury. Anselem figures to still see around 15-20 minutes as a reserve.

Not starting Saturday Anselem will not start on Saturday for Syracuse as they take on Miami.
Impact Anselem, who has started the last six games for Syracuse, will come off the bench on Saturday. Syracuse will roll out their senior day lineup, giving Bourama Sidibe the start at center. Anselem has appeared in 29 games this season, averaging 2.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.4 blocks on 13 minutes per game.

Grabs 15 boards in start Anselem contributed six points (3-6 FG, 0-2 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's 71-59 loss to Virginia Tech.
Impact With Jesse Edwards (wrist) sidelined, Anselem drew his first start of the campaign and grabbed a season-high 15 boards to go along with two blocks. Syracuse has a full week off before returning to action Feb. 19, so Edwards should have plenty of time to rest his wrist. Nonetheless, if he's sidelined again, Anselem will be a prime candidate for another increased role.

Available Saturday Anselem (undisclosed) is available for Saturday's game against Virginia Tech, according to Stephen Bailey of 247Sports.com.
Impact Anselem was available for the game against Miami earlier this week but didn't play, and he was spotted warming up before Saturday's contest. With that in mind, he could be an option to come off the bench. He hasn't played in any of Syracuse's last seven contests, however, so his impact would be minimal if available.

Out two more weeks at least Anselem will miss at least two more weeks due to COVID-19 protocols, Matthew Gutierrez of The Athletic reports.
Impact Anselem has not seen the floor since Dec. 16, though he often sees time only when games get out of hand. Syracuse has problems at center, as Bourama Sidibe (knee) is out indefinitely and John Bol Ajak is too small to fill the role, according to head coach Jim Boeheim. Sophomore Jesse Edwards is reportedly developing at practice, but he's only found the floor five times this season. The Orangemen will continue to play small while they wait for players to return.

Impact Anselem hasn't been a particularly huge contributor for the Orange thus far, but his absence will leave the team down a little bench depth among the bigs again Wednesday. He should rejoin the bench mix once he's cleared the protocols and has a practice or two under his belt.
JANUARY 6, 2021 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Anselem has averaged just 6.5 minutes per game through four contests thus far but doesn't appear to be available off the bench Wednesday. His next chance to take the floor arrives Saturday versus Georgetown, though it's not a guarantee he will take the floor even if available.
