Braden Smith - Quiet start to 2025-2026 Smith racked up six points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, 11 assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 82-51 victory over Evansville. Impact Smith struggled to get in rhythm in the opener, but the Boilermakers hardly needed him involved against overmatched Evansville. Still, it's scary how handily Purdue can defeat an opponent without its star forward Trey Kaufman-Renn and with its star point guard Smith having an off shooting night. Still, his facilitation remained electric as he dished out 11 dimes. With how much he runs this offense, Smith's floor in terms of production will remain pretty high even when he's struggling to find the bottom of the net.
