Paces Cardinals in Wednesday win Jones recorded 18 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and a steal across 31 minutes in Friday's 79-44 win over Evansville.
Impact Jones has always had the reputation of being a top scorer, and he backed that up in the season opener Wednesday -- pacing the Cardinals in points but also leading the team in both rebounds and assists. It was an impressive performance for the senior, one that he'd like to repeat Friday against Seton Hall.

Impact Williamson was doubtful for the season opener with a knee problem but was healthy enough to start, and he ended being the team's second-highest scorer while also making a big impact on both ends of the court. Deemed as healthy, Williamson should remain in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Seton Hall.
