Impact Chatman had a strong 2025-26 season with UAB. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 8.8 points and 8.8 boards, posting 43/28/69 shooting splits. The ex-JUCO player, who appears to have one season of eligibility remaining, will now seek a new home via the transfer portal.

Impact Chatman had 18 points by halftime and looked poised for a huge game, but cooled off in the second half. Over his last five games, the 6-8 junior has provided 13.6 points on 48.1 percent from the field, 11.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. The Blazers have won four of the five games to remain in contention for a bye to the semifinals of the American Conference tournament. UAB is off until next Sunday when the team faces North Texas. Chatman had six points and seven rebounds in the Jan. 31 win over the Mean Green.
