Committing to Cincinnati Mahaffey has committed to Cincinnati for the 2026-27 season, according to Joe Tipton of On3.com.

Impact The 6-foot-6 freshman, who also happens to be a Cincinnati native, averaged 7.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 2025-26 while also showing the ability to hit threes consistently. He was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team while playing for Akron in 2025-26.
