Impact LaBeaux underwent season-ending surgery to fix a lower body injury, forcing him out for the remainder of the season. The senior will take a medical redshirt to preserve his eligibility. Across 31 games (26 starts) last season he averaged 3.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in 21.3 minutes per game.

Impact It isn't a great sign that the Pirates had to eek out a win over a Division II school. It is, however, a continued great sign to see Emejuru produce. The 6-10 center is averaging 20.0 points and 10.7 rebounds, and now has consecutive double-doubles. Look for more production Tuesday against UNC-Wilmington.

Tybo Bailey - Starts, scores 19 Bailey finished with 19 points (4-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 9-10 FT) and three rebounds across 32 minutes during Thursday's 71-70 win over Elizabeth City State.
Impact Bailey started for Jordan Riley (illness) and had his best game of the season. The 6-2 sophomore had scored a combined 12 points in his first two games. He might have earned some extra playing even when Riley returns.

Impact Riley scored 22 and 18 points in the first and second games of the season for ECU, respectively, but he'll miss Thursday night's contest with an undisclosed illness. His next chance to suit up will come against UNC-Wilmington on Nov. 18.
