Healthy before 2025-26 season
Elliott (undisclosed) is healthy before the Aggies' 2025-26 season, according to their X account.
Impact
New Mexico State's team hosted Dia De Los Dunks on Thursday, when the Aggies held an in-house yet public scrimmage, for which their X account posted highlights on Friday. In the first of four videos published, Elliott (wearing No. 11) can be seen guarding the paint. The video indicates that he is healthy and potentially ready to log a third consecutive season with at least 14.0 points per game.

Committing to New Mexico State
Elliott (undisclosed) has committed to New Mexico State for the 2025-26 season, according to Portal Updates.
Impact
It's unclear if Elliott will be ready to play once the 2025-26 season begins since he's dealing with an undisclosed injury, but at least he knows in which program he'll be featuring. The 6-foot-1 senior guard spent the 2024-25 campaign at SIU, although he made just five appearances (four starts). In those five contests, he averaged 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
