Impact The 6-6 senior had only averaged 7.5 points in his three previous games, despite playing 31.8 minutes. He threw caution to the wind against the Colonels and helped the Shockers to a 36-point win. The Shockers are off for 10 days before they begin American Conference play on New Year's Even against UAB. Boyd is averaging 10.8 points and is converting 40.5 percent of his 3-pointers.
