Brooks Barnhizer - Out against Eastern Illinois Barnhizer (foot) will remain out against Eastern Illinois, SB Nation reports.

Impact Barnhizer will now miss Northwestern's first four games this season. The forward was listed as questionable, but will miss another contest Friday night. His next chance to play will come on Nov. 19 against Montana State.

Impact Barnhizer has missed the team's first three games. He's been listed as questionable before, and has also participated in warm-ups before ultimately sitting out, so this ultimately means very little for the wing's status.

Jalen Leach - Scores 16 points against UIC Leach closed with 16 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 83-74 victory over UIC.

Impact Leach remains productive for the Wildcats after transferring in from Fairfield this offseason. Through three games, the 6-foot-4 senior is averaging 11.7 points, two rebounds, 3.7 assists and one steal on 24.7 minutes per game. Leach will look to remain consistent as Northwestern starts to take on tougher competition in the coming weeks.

Ty Berry - Two-way contribution in win Berry totaled 13 points (3-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and three steals in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 83-74 victory over UIC.

Impact Berry cashed in on 3-of-5 looks from deep, adding on six rebounds and three steals on the defensive side of the ball. The 6-foot-3 senior has been a starter with the Wildcats for the better part of three years heading into the 2024-25 season, averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals on 29.9 minutes per game last season. Berry and the Wildcats will look to stay on the winning path during Friday's game against Eastern Illinois.
