Impact Freeman has missed the last eight games for the Orange, and it'll be nine come Wednesday night. The freshman's foot ailment has now carried into February, and the remainder of his season appears to be in serious jeopardy. Before his injury, Freeman averaged 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists as a standout starter for Syracuse.

Impact Gillis did not travel with the team ahead of Wednesday's game against Syracuse and it has been reported that his absence is illness related. The 6-foot-6 senior transfer from Purdue has appeared in all 21 games this season, averaging 4.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 14.4 minutes per game. Gillis will have his next opportunity to return against Clemson this Saturday.
