Will travel for game Tuesday Coach Mike Krzyzewski said that Johnson (foot) will travel to Tuesday's game against Virginia Tech, but will likely be a game-time decision, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.

Impact Johnson was able to do individual work in practice on Sunday. Coach K said that Johnson will suit up, but it's still unclear whether or not he will actually take the court. If Johnson doesn't go on Tuesday he would have a full week to get back to shape before the team's next game against Pittsburgh.

Stuffs stat sheet in win Steward notched 21 points (8-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 39 minutes in Saturday's 79-68 win over Wake Forest.

Impact Steward ended as Duke's second-highest scorer and has scored 13 or more points in four straight games, leaving behind a two-game stretch where he couldn't score more than six points last month. He has been productive, though, averaging 16.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over his last four appearances.

Impact Hurt has scored more than 20 points in three of his last six games and has registered 10 or more points in every game so far, so he's undoubtedly one of the go-to players for Duke offensively. He is averaging 19.6 points and 7.9 rebounds this season.

Impact Tape has now missed two consecutive games with a back issue and there has been no report as to when he's expected back. The 6-9 senior had started a game before getting injured and so he could see some minutes off the bench once he's able to return.

Impact While Goldwire's role seemed a bit uncertain early in the year, he's now seen 32 or more minutes in four consecutive contests. Wednesday matched his season-best assist total and also represented a season-high in scoring. The biggest takeaway, however, was that the senior saw more minutes than any other Blue Devils player. Goldwire will almost certainly continue to produce if given this type of run on a talented Duke team.

Impact While it wasn't the best shooting day for Steward, rotisserie players had to be pleased with the freshman's all-around production. He was one of four starters in double figures in a game that was too close for comfort and should continue to be an offensive focal point moving forward.

Impact With Jalen Johnson (foot) sidelined a few more weeks and Patrick Tape (back) out for Wednesday's contest, one would think the table was set for Brakefield to have a huge game in Duke's return to action. While the freshman saw the second-most minutes of any Duke reserve, he ultimately did not see the offensive touches he had grown accustom to during non-conference play. This inconsistency makes him a risky fantasy option moving forward, especially as Duke gets healthier.

Impact Moore was a dismal 1-for-21 from the field in the four games leading up to this contest, so to say this was a surprise would be an understatement. The 6-5 wing lost his starting job three games into the season and had seen single-digit minutes in his last two contests. A multi-week break due to COVID protocols appears to have done the sophomore well and allowed him to hit the reset button. The potential has always been there for the former five-star recruit, so perhaps Wednesday can represent a turning point in the season.
