USC guard Drew Peterson eligible this season after transfer

Drew Peterson will be eligible immediately to play for Southern California this season

Granted waiver for 2020-21 Peterson was granted a waiver by the NCAA making him eligible for the 2020-21 season, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Impact Peterson had originally committed to Minnesota during the offseason, but decided to take his commitment to the Trojans a couple weeks later. The Rice transfer averaged 11.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.4 three-pointers, and 1.0 steals per game last season.
