Impact Carter has been a rotational bench piece for the Ducks this season, but he drew his first start against Iowa on Saturday. It's not that it went particularly bad, but not much transpired for the senior guard across 19 minutes. Oregon is enduring a lost season made worse by injuries, but putting Carter in the starting five doesn't seem like the answer in Eugene.

He transferred from UC Davis, who gave him 21 minutes of game time during his freshman season. While enrolled at Oregon, Carter will have to prove himself, with game-time opportunities far from a given in his case.
