Committing to Dayton Montgomery announced his committment to play for Dayton for the 2025-26 season via his X account Sunday.
Impact Montgomery will join the Flyers following a single season with Georgia. The 6-foot-5 sophomore averaged 6.5 points in 15.7 minutes per game for the Bulldogs this past season. The former Mount St. Mary's transfer will retain two years of eligibility with Dayton moving forward.

The 6-5 wing was the rookie of the year in the MAAC conference a season ago for Mount St. Mary's, where he averaged 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 32 games (10 starts). Those numbers were bolstered by a strong finish, as he started the final six games of the year for the Mountaineers and averaged 21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists over that stretch. Even with the competition about to get stronger, Mongtomery looks like a worthwhile fantasy addition in most formats, especially if he can crack the starting lineup.
